Specter Working On Remembering Which Team He's On - or Whoops!

Arlen Specter, member of the United States Sen...Image via Wikipedia

Arlen Specter either kind of forgot which party he was in or else he just remembered he wants to be the Democratic candidate for his seat next year. So when he said, "There’s still time for the Minnesota courts to do justice and declare Norm Coleman the winner." he was just a little confused and now he's sort of taken it back.

Good thinking, Arlen. After all, he could have just stayed where he was if he was interested in losing the primary, right? Maybe he'll rethink some of his positions, too, or is that too much to hope for?

  1. I'm soooo looking forward to voting against him in the PA primary a year from now....

  2. I've read pretty much the same thing from others in PA as what Yoga said.

Time to get this retread out of office. Talk about flip-flopping! Specter was a Dem before Reagan ran, he switched then to be sure to get elected, and now switches back to assure himself of re-election.

  3. Fact is, you've got to represent somebody. He could be all out Republican and try to represent a shrinking number of crazies or he can be a Democrat and represent the majority of the people who want Democratic policies. Or he could always retire. At his age there's no shame in that. I don't think this in between thing is going to work out.
